3. Moving Around.

-Before you go any further, you might have to lay out your controls. What I mean by that is, set "all" your controls to your own personal preference. Don't use the default controls that come with JK2, they are not effective enough to become an efficient player. After playing the game a few time you will notice that there are some key controls you will use more often then others. Make sure you set them up very close to each other so you don't have to scout the whole keyboard for that special force power or whatever else it might be. The more within reach they are, the faster you will be able to implement them.
The most important skill to learn first is to "move around" (that's usually any multiplayer game, not just JK2) Like it has been said before, and probably will be mentioned in the future, a moving target is much harder to hit then a standing target! In other words, get your ass moving. Strafing is a very effective way to get away from an attack. In many fighting situations, all you might have to do in order to get away from an attack is to strafe away... strafe away and then BANG! you can nail you opponent as he or she comes by you. But with time, that simple skill of "move away and hit" will become a habit rather then technique. So bear that in mind. Although running and strafing are good, don't make them the only ways movement. Consider that jumping (forward + quick tab on the jump button) or rolling (forward + hit crouch button) will allow you to be a harder target to keep track of, as well as, at times you will be able to confuse you opponent and therefore have an opportunity to inflict some damage onto them. When your fight is close to a wall, a quick and cool maneuver is to run on the wall and then launch with the heavy saber on your enemy.

-And here are all the basic moves summarized:

Jump: press the jump button (when force is enabled, you will go higher by "holding" the jump button)
Crouch: press the crouch button
Roll: while you're moving in any direction, press the crouch button. This only works when holding a lightsaber.
Flip: press the forward button + jump. Works backwards and to the sides too.
Wall Flip: run toward a wall + jump + jump (twice)
Wall Run: press left or right + forward + jump.
Person Kick: run toward the person + jump + jump (twice) (same as wall flip)
